A note about LVA surgery. I actually met some folks from the hospital in Shanghai where Dr. Wang is based. They mentioned the surgery is still experimental with no strong evidence to back it's use and no RCTs. Dr. Wang is the only surgeon who does the surgery and demands out of pocket payments (upwards of 300K yuan). The National Health Commission has banned the surgery and the government doesn't pay for it citing lack of evidence.
